ISES membership presents countless opportunities for professional development and certification as well as networking and connecting with industry resources. Your involvement in ISES allows you to build relationships with other professionals in the metropolitan Detroit area, while gaining additional knowledge to help you succeed.
ISES membership alone does not ensure success, you have to get involved and utilize your membership to its highest potential. This is done by attending monthly meetings and international events, actively participating in chapter activities through leadership positions and speaking opportunities and developing relationships with your fellow ISES members to generate new business.
How Does ISES Metro Detroit Support Members?
ISES Metro Detroit is dedicated to providing a solid and valuable resource for our members. To do so, we consistently request member feedback on services and programs they would like to see the chapter provide. We also provide reduced fees for members to attend our monthly meetings, distribute information on job opportunities before nonmembers, give priority when securing venues and speakers for meetings, provide advertising discounts and media relations opportunities and more.

ISES Metro Detroit believes in supporting the future of the event industry. In doing so, we invite student members to attend meetings at a reduced rate and are open to providing as many learning experiences (job shadowing, resume critique, etc.) as the student desires.
To qualify for an ISES Student Membership, applicants must be a part- or full-time student enrolled in a recognized certificate program. Student membership applications must be signed by the student’s program coordinator prior to submission to ISES headquarters. Membership as a student can be held for a maximum of two years, after which the individual can apply for a professional membership (corporate primary, corporate additional, member, non-profit).
